Oakland Raiders owner Al Davis, who had a legendary career in professional football as a coach, the commissioner and the owner, died Saturday, the team said. He was 82 years.
In a brief statement on their website, the Raiders said a statement would be published later in the day.The cause of death was not immediately released.A large part of the career of Davis' spent in Oakland, where he arrived as coach in 1963 - with the task of translating the team, which was chosen to be the investment fund. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame football in 1992.
