London Submits Development Plan for Olympic Site
Olympic planners failed to develop a proposal on Wednesday, the site of the London 2012 Games, 10,000 new homes and parks, shops and schools, after the world's best athletes at home. - LONDON.
Olympic Park Legacy Committee 5000-page planning application shows how the Olympic Park could be changed up to five new districts. The committee has outlined his ideas for 64 hectares (158 acres) in east London Olympic site in the past, but on Wednesday the application provides a more accurate picture of Queen Elizabeth in developing the Olympic Park.
Committee Executive Director Andrew Altman, said the five villages "will scare the surrounding communities", with parks, shops and schools.
The plans include plazas, paths of the channel, the roof gardens and bike paths, playgrounds 29.
Neighborhoods will be sitting next to the Olympic Stadium, Aquatics Centre and ArcelorMittal Orbit - the new emblem for the Games of post-London.
London Mayor Boris Johnson described the proposal as an important step "that will revolutionize the face of East London."

"And 'the most important reform project, the city has seen in 25 years," Johnson said.

Triggers the delivery of the 28-day period of consultation. It hopes to license the development, before the Games next July 27
